Side Effects of Dermal Fillers
Ordinary side effects that may occur after dermal filler injections include:
- Temporary asymmetry until inflammation subsides
- Extended asymmetry due to filler administration (easily resolved)

More Serious, but very rarely the following may occur after dermal fillers:

During skin ageing and sun damage, the process of collagen, hyaluronic acid and elastin production and turnover within skin layers decelerates. This causes the skin to lose elasticity, smoothness and firmness, which in turn can lead to the development of fine lines and wrinkles.
A safe and highly effective method of cosmetically improving the appearance of wrinkles is through the administration of anti-wrinkle injections.
Anti-wrinkle injections can be administered to target:
- Horizontal lines of the Forehead
- Glabellar lines: between the eyebrows
- Crow’s feet: outside of the eyes
Injection target areas and dose are client specific as these factors are dependent on the individuals facial anatomy, muscle mass and the desired clinical outcome.
